PESHAWAR: While announcing to meet disgruntled party leaders in the forward bloc, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan said he will not be blackmailed on ministries, ARY News reported.

After meeting the acting chief election commissioner, the PTI chairman said it was right of the party leaders to raise objections and said re-elections would be conducted to clear the air within the party.

He said Khyber Pakhtonkhwa government was ready to hold local government elections on April 30. “We have asked the election commission to start a pilot project for introducing biometric system in the province,” said Khan.

The PTI chief said where 15,00 voters were registered, but 8,000 ballots were casted. Action should be taken against returning officers posted at such polling stations, he demanded. He reiterated that two big parties of the country won elections through adjustments.
