PTI continues sit-in against NATO supplies blockage

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will continue its sit in for blocking the NATO supplies from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province on Sunday, ARY News reports.

Earlier, the PTI Chairman Imran Khan had warned that the NATO supply would be blocked if drone strikes were continued by the United States (US).

The anti-drone sentiments of PTI Chief had intensified when a drone strike was carried out in the KP city of Hangu, killing 8 students of a seminary and injuring 2.

Shireen Mazari, Central Information Secretary PTI, said that the entrance and exit of containers in the province would be blocked and the practice will be continued for an indefinite period. The central blockage of containers would be held at Ring Road.

PTI had announced protests in several districts of the province namely Peshawar, Hayatabad Toll Plaza, Khairabad Bridge, Swabi and Charsadda Motorway Interchange and Toll Plaza of Dera Ismail Khan.
