PTI decides to contact PPP, MQM on rigging issue

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to contact Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), to settle affairs pertaining to rigging of last general elections in the country – ARY News reports.

PTI Vice-Chairman, Shah Mehmood Qureshi during his conversation with Kashif Abbasi, in ARY News program 'Off the Record', clarified that PTI is not aimed at derailing democracy in the state, while Minister for Railways, Khwaja Saad Rafiq said that talks can be held on demands laid by PTI, but no decisions are made on D-Chowk, for this everyone will have to sit together to devise a way to sort out things.

Qureshi further said that even Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) admitted the fact that the ink used during General Elections 2013, was not according to standards and it should be identified as to who was responsible for this.

Both the leaders also criticized each other during the program, while they also presented different suggestions for the prevention of rigging of elections.
