PTI leader Jahangir Tareen, in its letter to the election commission, stated that no extension in tenure of three tribunal judges, while several petitions are subjudice, is against the legal obligations.
He also claimed that the tenure of judges, who are giving verdicts in favor of PTI, are not being extended upon pressure by Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), which is unfortunate.
The party demanded the commission to extend the tenure of judges till they announce verdict in all cases.
The letter also stated that PTI Chairman Imran Khan has expressed his concerns over the decision of provincial election commissioners of not tendering their resignation.
