ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Zaeem Qadri parted ways with his party and announced to contest the upcoming elections as an independent candidate after being denied party ticket.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) seems to gain advantage to bring the staunch loyalist to their camp.

PTI leader Aleem Khan said the doors are always open for Zaeem Qadri and he would be welcome in their camp.

He said the Zaeem Qadri is a dedicated worker and his parting ways with the PML-N has exposed their reality. He said the PML-N has not cared for its genuine workers and was not withering away, adding that Qadri should be given his due rights.

He also said that Zaeem’s parting is just a drop, and the party will witnesses further such defections and disagreements as it announces party tickets.

“Aleem Khan is a staunch politicians. We will keep our doors open for him,” he said. “This is a small drop in the rain. We will witness many such incidents.”
