PTI’s Central Secretary Information, Shireen Mazari has filed the plea in IHC on behalf of her party.
It has been stated in the application that under Article 60, the process of electing Chairman and Deputy Chairman Senate cannot be carried until federal government’s decision. The date for hearing of the plea will be set tomorrow.
PTI has made Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Federal Government and the Law Ministry as party in the case.
Earlier, Chairman PTI Imran Khan has subjected his party’s senators vote for chairman to the formation of judicial commission to probe the rigging in 2013 general elections.
