A bench of the Supreme Court heard the petition about fears of any possible extra-constitutional act during the ongoing protest in Islamabad.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan submitted a written statement in the court stating that their workers will not storm any building nor will they stop anyone from entering or exiting any building.

It was further stated that the party wants the supremacy of the constitution and democracy alongwith the protection of the citizens’ rights.

“The accusation that PTI is harming the economy of Pakistan is not true”, PTI claimed in the statement.

The party pleaded to the court to issue orders for removal of barriers and containers placed in the Red Zone area of Islamabad.
