PTI kicks off anti-corruption campaign from Sindh today

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will kick off anti-corruption campaign from Sindh aimed at mobilizing people to rise against ‘massive corruption’ in the province, ARY News reported.

Senior PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi will lead the rallies in different districts of Sindh.

Under the title ‘Corruption Mitao, Mulk Bachao’ (Eradicate Corruption, Save Country), a five-day anti-corruption march would begin from Gharo and will proceed to Thatta, Sajawal, Golarchi, Badin and Shadi Pali.

On April 27, rally will reach at Mirpurkhas, Sanghar and Shahdatkot, While on April 28 and 29, the PTI caravan will head to Shikarpur, Nawabshah and Khairpur.

PTI chairman Imran Khan will arrive in Sukkur on April 30 to address the rally.

Yesterday during a meeting, Shah Mehmood Qureshi had told senior PPP leader Khursheed Shah that PTI had no intent to specifically target PPP during the drive.

It was just a plan to commence anti-corruption from one province and take it to other provinces, he said.

PTI head Imran Khan had announced to launch countrywide anti-corruption drive last week to held rulers accountable for ‘wrongdoings’.
