PTI leader denied access to Qadri’s residence

LAHORE: The government has responded to the Martyrs’ Day announcement of Dr. Tahir ul Qadri in panic, ARY News reported on Thursday.

Punjab government has deployed large contingents of police around the Minhaj ul Quran Secretariat in Model Town.

The roads in the area have been sealed with containers and other barriers.

Police denied PTI leader Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed to visit the residence of Tahir ul Qadri.

Rasheed warned to stage sit-in if the sealed roads not reopened.

The presence of large police contingents in the area and road blocks causing hardships for the residents of the area.

Moreover, police has launched a crackdown against the activists of Awami Tehreek in Lahore and other cities of Punjab to stop their participation in the martyrs day announced by Dr. Tahirul Qadri.
