Talking to media today, Imran Ismael said, for PTI, NA-246 by-election is of worth importance to discourage environment of fear in Karachi.

“One seat in the national assembly will not make any difference to PTI”, said Imran Ismael.

PTI’s candidate for NA-246 desired to have peaceful elections without any untoward incident.

Speaking on the occasion, MQM’s candidate for NA-246 Kanwar Naveed condemned the PTI-MQM yesterday’s clash.

Referring to Altaf Hussain’s statement for providing assistance to PTI for rally, Kanwar Naveed said for them nothing is more important than orders of party chief.

On the other hand, Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad informed media that code of conduct for NA-246 by-polls has been designed. He said  talks between the two parties were held in a peaceful manner.

“Both the parties (MQM & PTI) have reached a consensus and sorted out all the differences”, he said.

Replying to a question, Governor Sindh said workers of both the parties are advised to avoid any slogan or taunt against party leaders.

On the request of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, Governor of Sindh has summoned an emergency meeting of both the parties to formulate a code of conduct for the by-election at Governor House.
