PTI, PML-N lawmakers quarrel in NA

TOP NEWS

ISLAMABAD: Leaders of PML-N and PTI indulged in altercation in the National Assembly today over remarks hurled by the former against PTI chief, ARY News reported Wednesday.

During the NA session, PML-N lawmaker Umar Ayub asked that Imran Khan should tell where he met expenditures of his residence in Bani Gala. The query led to altercation between members of the PML-N and the PPP.

PTI lawmakers registered strong protest over PML-N’s MNA remarks.

On the other side, PTI leader and MNA Shah Mehmood Qureshi demanded summoning all parties’ conference to discuss terrorism menace and threats facing the country.

He said government should immediately take into confidence all political parties and devise policy to deal with the terrorism.

Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said government, instead of calling all parties’ conference, should form grand alliance.

He lamented that government even could not ensure complete quorum during the budget session. “Time is not far when people will play cards in the National Assembly,” said Rasheed.
