During the past couple of days, there has been much talk against VIP culture in Pakistan. Two incidents in Karachi helped spark condemnations from all quarters poured in, vehemently condemning VIP culture. A visit by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and to the Civil Hospital in Karachi became controversial after a 10-month old girl by the name of Bisma died, since she couldn’t receive timely help due to Bilawal’s protocol.
In another separate incident, a young man on a motorbike had a minor collision with a double cabin vehicle. The persons who were traveling in the double cabin vehicle thrashed the motorcyclist so severely that his hearing and seeing was impaired.

Imran Khan and his political party Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf has always voiced displeasure at VIP culture and condemned massive protocols that accompany federal ministers and dignitaries.
