PTI seeks extension in Dr Qadri’s deadline to govt

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) delegation headed by vice-chairman, Shah Mehmood Qureshi has held a meeting with the chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr Tahirul Qadri and requested him to extend his deadline given to the government, ARY News reported.

Qureshi along with Pervez Khattak, Asad Umer and others met the PAT chief, Dr Tahir ul Qadri and conveyed him the message of PTI chairman, Imran Khan.

Addressing the workers and followers of Dr Qadri after the meeting, Shah Mehmood Qureshi asked them to demonstrate patience, adding, “You have exhibited so much of forbearance, I request you to wait a while more”.

He said, “Our motive and our goal is same, but for that we will have to devise a strategy and we will have to further our struggle through wisdom”.

The PTI leader said that we also demand the registration of the FIR of Model Town incident as per the application filed by PAT, while the Punjab CM, Shahbaz Sharif will have to step down over the killing of innocent people.

He repeated his party’s stance, “No compromise can be made on the resignation of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, but for that we will have to be patient”.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi while addressing participants, said, “I understand your feelings and emotions, yet I request you to demonstrate some more patience”.
