PTI submits motion on Dawn Leaks in National Assembly
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has filed an adjournment motion in National Assembly to seek Dawn Leaks inquiry report to be produced in the parliament, ARY News reported on Thursday.
PTI lawmakers Shirin Mazari and Asad Umar filed an adjournment motion in the lower house seeking adjournment of the routine business of the lower house to initiate debate on an inquiry report on the national security news leak scandal.
The PTI adjournment motion says that Dawn Leaks has been a national security issue as agreed by the interior minister and the corps commanders conference of the army.
The motion further says that an ambiguity surrounding solution of the matter raises several questions over the matter.
The movers demand that the inquiry report over the issue should be produced before the parliament as national security has been a matter of concern for all citizens of Pakistan.
“We want to know the people who were behind this national security issue,” the movers added.
