PTI submits motion in Punjab Assembly against Altaf's statement
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf on Monday submitted a motion in Punjab Assembly against MQM leader Altaf Hussain's address at the party's public meeting in Hyderabad, ARY News reports.
Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly and PTI leader Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed in the motion said that Altaf Hussain has talked of dismemberment of the country. The motion called the MQM Chief's statement against national security and urged for its condemnation.
Muslim League (Q) leader and former chief minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said his party will not support the motion over the statement of MQM chief.
