SUKKUR: Jahangir Tareen, General Secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has said that the political party did not support Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), ARY News reports.
Speaking at a press conference at Sukkur Press Club, Jahangir Tareen said that PTI did not support Taliban militants but the issue can only be solved via dialogue.
Jahangir Tareen said that the hideouts of the militant organization have to be finished in order to curb terrorism. “Military offence is necessary to end Taliban”, he added.
He added that the number of drone attacks in the county reduced after PTI protested against the NATO supply routes.
Answering a question, General Secretary PTI said that the promises made by the government to end load shedding and poverty were not fulfilled and people have been over burdened with huge taxes.
