ISLAMABAD: Federal Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will not be allowed to disrupt the lives of citizens in Islamabad on 2nd November.

Imran Khan led PTI has announced to lock out the federal capital city to press for its demand of probe against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Panama Papers scandal.

In an interview, the minister advised PTI to join the government for strengthening the electoral system in Pakistan if it seeks to introduce reforms in the prevailing system.

Iqbal said that Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan is raising anti-corruption slogans in order to survive politically in the 2018 general elections.

He went on to say that the federal government is staying true to resolve the Panama Leaks issue and has displayed flexibility over the matter.

Chairman PTI Imran Khan has announced that the siege of the federal capital on Novemeber 2nd would continue until the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Khan also told Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to face an inquiry into Panama Leaks Papers or give resignation from the top office. He has said that “ PTI will not leave roads of Islamabad without justice.”

He also said that his sit-in in Islamabad will be historic and would gather a crowd of one million people in the capital.

“Islamabad will be transformed into Tahrir Square.” Khan added.
