KARACHI: Workers and leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have gathered outside Governor House in Karachi to protest against arrests of PTI workers in Islamabad, ARY News reported.

The protesters played a trick with police by announcing to hold a protest before Karachi Press Club, however they ended up in flocking outside Governor House. Some women activists even managed to slip into the building but they were later returned outside.

PTI leaders Khurrum Sher Zaman and Arif Alvi are leading the protest. The protesters chanted anti-government slogans.

After having a brief conversation with Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan and handing him over a draft consisting of their demands, Arif Alvi announced to postpone the sit-in till tomorrow. However, he did not announce venue for the protest.
