According to details, PTI nominee Barrister Sultan Mehmood defeated Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate, Chaudhry Ashraf in the by-election in LA-3 Mirpur, Azad Kashmir held on Sunday.
Workers and supporters of both the parties seemed full of enthusiasm and were sighted heading towards the polling stations to vote in favor of their respective candidates.
Polling process in the constituency commenced at 8am and concluded at 5pm.
PTI workers and supporters in the constituency felicitated each other and celebrated the victory by distributing sweetmeats.
