LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that public service is prime agenda of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf government, ARY News reported on Thursday.

Talking to PTI’s MNA Ramesh Kumar who called him on at chief minister’s office in the Punjab’s provincial capital, Usman Buzdar said PTI’s prime object is to serve the masses and the government is moving towards the right direction in this regard.

“Sincere efforts are being made for public welfare and transparency has also been ensured in public welfare steps”, he said.

In another step to serve masses and create ease for them, Sardar Usman Buzdar, yesterday, had inaugurated Chief Minister’s complaints center at his office.

Addressing the ceremony, he had said the PTI government has fulfilled yet another promise by establishing complaints center in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Initially, complaints relating to health, education, police and DC Office could be lodged via the given numbers, he said and added the scope of this center will be extended to the whole province as providing immediate solutions to the citizens is our important responsibility and the launch of this facility will help redress grievances at the level of districts, tehsils and villages.

He said that people from remote areas could not approach the Chief Minister’s Office and start of this center will facilitate such hapless people now. “I have also initiated an open-door policy in the offices and chit-system has been scrapped. I shall personally monitor this center and it will be made to work as an effective organ to facilitate the needy public,” he added.
