PUC demands to convene OIC’s session for Palestine

LAHORE: Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) has demanded government of Pakistan to convene a session of Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) to stop Israeli aggression against Palestinians in Gaza, ARY News reported.

PUC organized a Palestine solidarity conference at Lahore Press Club and announced to observe ‘Yaum-e-Quds’ on Friday. While the Pakistan’s Christian community will pray for the oppressed Palestinian people in churches next Sunday.

The participants of the conference asked United Nations (UN) and Muslim rulers to take instant and effective measures to put an end to massacres of Palestinians.

At the conclusion of the conference a joint declaration was issued stating that Israeli violence is against the mankind.

“People, belonging to different religions, are protesting across the globe against the heinous Zionist crimes. The international community should stand up against Israeli aggression,” it said.

The conference was attended by difference religious and social organization to expressing solidarity with the Palestine.
