LAHORE: A man was killed here in Band Road area of Sanda reportedly over a monetary dispute on Thursday, ARY News reported.

According to details, Zulfiqar, owner of a tyre-puncture shop, was shot by unidentified armed assailants. He was severely injured and later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

Sanda Police have registered a case on the complaint of Zulfiqar’s brother Falak Sher, who has maintained that Zulfiqar was shot by the person with whom he had argued on April 4th over the charges of tyre-puncture.

“Zulfiqar had asked for Rs. 70 for the puncture whereas the man in question was insistent on giving only Rs. 50”, claimed Falak Sher.

He said that the man had left the scene but not without threatening his brother of dire consequences.

In the complaint, he has maintained that the same person killed Zulfiqar, although he made no indication about who the person could be.

Till the filing of this report, no arrests were made whereas the police were on the lookout for the unidentified killers.
