Youth ray of hope for country, says CM Buzdar

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday said the government is working on a comprehensive programme to empower the youth as Pakistan is among the blessed countries whose 60 percent of the population comprises the youth.

Talking to a delegation of the youth at the CM Office, he said new generation is blessed with wonderful capabilities and is determined to serve the nation. He said the future of ‘Naya Pakistan’ depends on the youth and unfortunately governments in the past have not invested in the youth and done nothing to empower them.

“The youth is our asset and we will make a comprehensive policy to benefit from this asset,” the chief minister said. He said the PTI government will utilize all-out resources to benefit from the capabilities of the youth and will ensure implementation of this policy.

He said the government can change the destiny of the nation by providing rights to the youth and resolved to provide strong foundation to the national economy by empowering the youth.

Mr Buzdar said the public service, development and progress of the nation are top priority of the government.  He said the country cannot make progress without giving rights to the youth.

He said the nation has pinned high hopes on talented and intelligent youth as Pakistan is belongs to everyone and we should work together for its progress.

He said the PTI government is working with sincerity for the bright future of the country, adding that it will provide all-out resources for the youth as this is the agenda of the PTI.
