TOP NEWS

LAHORE: The Government of Punjab has decided to lodge an operation against the members of banned outfits in order to control terrorism and sectarianism, while Provincial Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah has said that every possible step shall be taken for the prevention of terrorism in the province – ARY News reports.

Talking to media at his residence on Tuesday, Rana Sanaullah claimed that the Government will lodge a full-fledged operation against the organizations giving rise to sectarianism; he appealed the Ulema and people to cooperate with authorities in this regard.

He further elaborated that during the operation, members of the banned outfits falling in schedule-4, will also be apprehended and the board of Ulema will also be mobilized for preventing sectarianism.

Commenting on Bannu and Rawalpindi attacks, the Law Minister stated that such cowardly attacks cannot make Government's determination fluctuate.

Rana criticized the PTI Chairman Imran Khan, saying he neither wants to play any role in talks with militants nor he supports an offensive against them, he is only involved in political point-scoring on this core issue.
