Punjab Gov't, NADRA sign MoU to computerize arms licenses

LAHORE: The Government of Punjab and National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding the computerization of all arms licenses, which will be accomplished this year – ARY News reports.

According to details, the MoU was signed during a ceremony held at Model Town, which was also attended by the Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif and the Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.

Talking to media on this occasion, Shahbaz Sharif told that the record was not computerized in the past, which gave birth to problems, but the Punjab Government has initiated this and the process will be accomplished by NADRA, this year.

Moreover, he told that the computerization of land records of the entire province will also be accomplished this year.
