Health ministry committed to deliver on 100-day plan: Yasmin Rashid

LAHORE: Minister Health Punjab Dr Yasmin Rashid on Wednesday said that PTI government has initiated reforms in health sector on war footing across the province, ARY News reported.

Talking to Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Mir Dost Muhammad Mazari who called on her here today, the health minister said that and genuine change in public health facilities was need of the hour and her ministry is committed to introduce meaningful reforms in the sector.

“To achieve the goals set as a part of our 100-day plan is our top priority” she told the deputy speaker, adding that  unfortunately the South Punjab was not given its due right in the past.

She said that now is the time to give southern districts of the province their due share.

Dr Yasmin Rashid maintained that the health ministry is trying to improve delivery service of health department and necessary legislation would be promulgated.

“Instead of criticism for criticism we would welcome constructive suggestions”.

She also wowed that she would complete task given by Chief Minister Punjab at any cost.

Deputy Speaker Mir Dost Muhammad Mazari appreciated the health minister’s efforts.
