LAHORE: Punjab's Minister of Sports Rana Mashhood Ahmed has claimed that the government has an agreement with the organizers of the Guinness Book of World Records.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, the sports minister waving a bunch of papers said that the provincial government has inked an agreement with the Guinness Book of World Records, ARY News reported on Saturday.

The media persons when asked for a copy of the agreement, the minister declared it a confidential deal. He neither deny nor affirm whether the representatives of the Guinness World Records were genuine or not.

It is mentioned here that the government of Punjab in recent Punjab Youth Festival presented two foreigners as representatives of the Guinness Book.

The Guinness Book of World Records in an email to ARY News had clarified that the two foreign nationals were not affiliated with their organization.
