Punjab govt seeks ‘red warrant’ for Youhanabad tragedy suspect

According to details, Punjab government in a bid to arrest the culprits of the lynching incident after deadly attacks on two churches in Lahore’s Youhanabad, has requested the country’s federal interior ministry to issue a ‘red warrant’ for the prime suspect Sohail Johnson.

Sohail Johnson fled the country after allegedly engineering the tragedy which saw two people burnt alive after twin bomb blasts.

Johnson reportedly fled to Bangkok, Thailand’s capital city.

Police has started checking records of different Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) in this regard.

At least 14 people were killed and more than 70 were injured when two Taliban suicide bombers attacked churches of Youhanabad in Lahore.

Two passersby were burnt alive by the angry mob after the tragic incident.
