Qadri announces siege of Parliament House

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has ordered his workers to surround the National Assembly building on Wednesday, ARY News reports.

Addressing his workers on Wednesday, PAT Chairman Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that they will not let anyone enter or exit the Parliament House till Nawaz Sharif steps down as Prime Minister.

He added that he respects the state institutions and advised PAT workers to remain calm. Let the members of National Assembly to enter the Parliament House so they can be together, he told his party workers.

Qadri ordered his workers to not lay a finger on the soldiers of Pakistan Army. He said that whoever lays a hand on the soldiers will not remain a member of Awami Tehreek.

It should be noted that a session of the Parliament is underway in which Prime Minister is present.
