Qadri demands Pak-Army to take over security upon his return

KARACHI: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr Tahir ul Qadri has warned that if he is harmed upon his arrival in Pakistan, then the Government shall be held responsible for it. He demanded the Pakistan Army to take over the security upon his return to the country – ARY News reports.

According to details, the PAT Chief has expressed serious security threats to him on his arrival here in Pakistan. He said that if he is harmed, then eight specific officials of the provincial and central governments will be responsible.

He demanded the Pakistan Army to take over the security, upon his return.

Qadri said that he is returning to Pakistan, putting his life at great risk, only for the poor suffering people, for the current system safeguards the interests of elite class only.

Yesterday, the PAT Chief had announced to return to Pakistan on June 23 and referred to his return as the beginning of a public revolution.
