Governor Sindh accepts resignation of Qaim Ali Shah

Earlier, Shah met with the Governor and presented his resignation. Several Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders including Nisar Khuhro, Nasir Shah, Mansoor Wassan, Mukesh Chawla and new CM-designate Murad Ali Shah were also present on the occasion.

The governor congratulated Murad Ali Shah for being selected as the new Chief Minister of Sindh. He hoped that the he would serve the people of Sindh with complete dedication. He also appreciated the services of outgoing CM for the province.

The farewell visit by given to Qaim Ali Shah, who arrived in a motorcade of more than nineteen cars and was driven by Murad Ali Shah. More than twelve cars deployed on security stood outside the Governor House.

Later while speaking to the media. Governor Ebad appreciated the efforts of Qaim Ali Shah. He said that they had an excellent working relationship since the last eight years and there was never any conflict between them.

Applications for the new leader of the house will be submitted till 6PM tomorrow. The election for the new Chief Minister will be held in a session of the provincial assembly convened on Friday at 3PM, who will  take oath on the same day at the Governor House.
