Qaim expresses satisfaction over Karachi operation

KARACHI:  Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that law enforcement agencies are being provided with modern equipments to curb violence and maintain peace in the province, ARY News reported.

Speaking to media in CM House, Qaim Ali Shah said that there has been a decrease of about 40 per cent in targeting killings. 

He said that Karachi operation is witnessing great success as the incidents extortions have also declined after the targeted operation.

The Minister expressed desire for fair and transparent Local Bodies elections in the Province.

He said that Pakistan Peoples’ Party will file an appeal in Supreme Court against Sindh High Court’s decision regarding delimitation of constituencies.

Qaim Ali Shah said that before making any legislation PPP always discuss it with MQM parliamentary leader Sardar Ahmed.
