LARKANA: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that strict action will be taken against concerned Deputy Commissioners (DCs) if the cheating claims in the ongoing matric examinations across Sindh are proven true, ARY News reports on Wednesday.
Speaking to media outside Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that the Deputy Commissioners were given the responsibility of organizing the matriculation examinations across the province.
On the other hand, provincial minister for education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro toured the examination centres across the district with Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Larkana Professor Mohammad Daud Memon and reviewed the arrangements made for the matric examinations.
Nisar Khuhro said that the usage of unfair means to pass the exams will not be tolerated. He added that the Sindh Government wants to improve the quality of education. He further said that the police contingents around the examination centres will be increased.
