According to details, Anees Qaimkhani and Mustafa Kamal, leaders of the newly-formed Pak Sarzameen Party, reached the Sindh High Court early Tuesday morning to file request for protective bail.
It is pertinent to mention that arrest warrants had been issued for Anees Qaimkhani in the Dr Asim case. Dr Asim Hussain’s case is on-going at an Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi, since the accused has been charged with providing medical treatment at his hospital to alleged terrorists and militants.
Anees Qaimkhani has denied any wrong-doing and denied all claims of which he is accused in the case. An earlier Joint Investigation Report (JIT) also expunged his name from the Baldia Factory Fire case from the list of suspects.
Mustafa Kamal and Anees Qaimkhani’s Pak Sarzameen Party was strengthened by the inclusion of Waheeduz Zaman, former chairman of the APMSO and former sector in-charge Mohommad Raza, when the duo joined PSP yesterday.
