Quetta: Roadside bomb kills a minor, 18 injured
QUETTA: A minor girl was killed, whilst 18 others were injured as a roadside bomb exploded near new Saryab Road police station – ARY News reports.
Eye witnesses told that the there were scores of people when the bomb went off, due to which an eight years old girl was killed while 18 other people were injured. Rescue and Police teams immediately take to the site and shifted the injured to hospital.
SSP Operation, Muhammad Jaffar told that it was remote controlled bomb, in which some 3 kg of explosives were used. He further stated that the blast was aimed at targeting an FC vehicle, which was passing by close to the site.
The bomb was planted in a handcart and miscreants exploded it using a remote control.
Moreover, a passenger van and two auto-rickshaws were also damaged due to the powerful blast.
