Rabbani asks PM Nawaz to end Senate boycott

ISLAMABAD: Senator Raza Rabbani has urged the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif to end his boycott of the Senate and to take the upper house into confidence, ARY News reports.

Speaking in Senate in Islamabad here on Wednesday, Raza Rabbani said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, in an interview to a private news channel, said that PM Nawaz had confessed that the success rate of the military operation in FATA is only 40%. 

He added that the morale of the state will be low if its premier is making such statements.

According to Raza Rabbani, Imran Khan had said that a three member meeting was held in which it was briefed that the success ratio of the military intervention in the tribal areas is only fourty per cent.

He said that such statements are parallel to demoralize the state.

Senator Raza Rabbani urged the Prime Minister to finish his bycott of the Senate and to take the house into confidence.
