Rabi ul Awal moon sighted, 12th Rabi ul Awal will be on Jan. 14

KARACHI: The moon of Rabi ul Awal has been sighted in Pakistan and according to the Moon Sighting Committee 1st Rabi ul Awal will be on Friday, January 3 – ARY News reports.

According to details, the moon Sighting Committee has announced that 12th Rabi ul Awal will be on January 14. With the news of Rabi ul Awal moon sighted in Pakistan, most of the Masajid countrywide have been lit with colorful lights in the wake of the day of birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

Ulema and religious scholars have also announced Milad and other programs in which the lifespan of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) will be elaborated.

Moreover, the Sindh Education Department has also announced a Na'at competition from Rabi ul Awal 8-12, whereas special programs will also be held at all the universities of Sindh including the University of Karachi (UoK).
