KARACHI: Just after a statement made by the Founder Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), appealing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for an intervention, Rabita Committee of MQM-P has said that such statements intend to put patriotism of Muhajirs under question while terming it a conspiracy against the community, ARY News reported.

In a statement issued here, the Rabita Committee has condemned the recent statement made by Founder MQM and vowed to foil such conspiracies at all platforms against Muhajir patriotism.

“Muhajirs are patriot Pakistanis and their ancestors have devoted their entire lives in creation of separate Muslim homeland and their hearts beat for Pakistan”, the statement further said.

By calling Indian prime minister the butcher of Muslims in Gujrat, the committee vowed to counter every conspiracy questioning their patriotism and endangering Pakistan’s integrity.

Moreover, other parties including Awami Muslim League (AML), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) in separate statements condemned the appeal made by the founder MQM.
