KARACHI: Railway authorities have said that the restoration of the railway tracks of Ghaghar Phatak can take further 12 hours, ARY News reports on Wednesday.
Seven bogies of Shalimar Express were derailed as terrorists destroyed the railway tracks near Ghaghar Phatak by explosives on Tuesday night. One girl was killed in the attack.
Railway traffic is being severely disturbed due to the maintenance work by the railways' staff. Shalimar Express, scheduled to leave at 06:00 am, and Hazara Express, scheduled to leave at 07:00 am, have not left for departure. Awam Express also left the station after a delay of 1.5 hours.
The authorities have stated that the maintenance will take further 12 hours.
