Rana, Abid booked for killing PTI workers in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Police has registered the FIR of the killing of two workers of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) against Rana Sanaullah, Abid Sher Ali, DCO Faisalabad and 300 others, ARY News reported.

According to details, Attaullah, brother of one of the two deceased PTI workers, registered the FIR nominating former law minister Rana Sanaullah, State Minister for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali, DCO Faisalabad Noorul Amin Mengal, Rana Sanaullah son-in-law named Shehryar and 300 other unknown persons as accused.

The FIR no. 803 was registered at the Samnabad police station under section 302 (intentional and deliberate murder), which also contained clauses for rioting and instigating violence.

Meanwhile, the Punjab CM, Shahbaz Sharif has also taken notice of the PTI workers’ killing and constituted a three-member committee to probe the matter and report the findings to him.
