Rana refers induction of military officials in Taliban Talks a better decision
LAHORE: Law Minister Punjab, Rana Sanaullah has said that the induction of military representatives in negotiations with Taliban will prove to be a better decision, whilst Taliban should also held Government identify confronting groups like Ahrar-ul-Hind – ARY News reports.
Addressing a press conference at the Punjab Assembly on Thursday, Rana Sanaullah said that the decision of a ceasefire is really in the interest of people and the state, whereas the induction of military representatives in negotiations process will prove to be a better decision.
He also urged Taliban to help the Government in identifying pro-fight groups like Ahrar-ul-Hind.
Speaking about assembly proceedings, Rana said that a legislation regarding empowering the women will take place in tomorrow's session. He added that 24,992 women will be appointed in different departments all over Punjab.
The Law Minister while commenting on Local Body (LB) elections, said that the Government is determined to conduct LB polls.
He also labeled the allegations framed by MNA Jamshed Dasti as a foolish act.
Moreover, Rana while responding to a question regarding a foreign hand involved in terrorism activities in Pakistan, said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can better elaborate whether RAW and MOSAD are involved in these incidents or not.
