In his word with media after laying the foundation stone of a sports stadium here on Sunday, Rana Sanaullah said that MQM is a political party and we wish to see it playing a political role.

However, he said that no political party can be allowed to be involved in ‘criminal and unlawful activities’.

Rana said that the elements involved in such activities within the MQM will be brought to justice.

He said that earlier the militant wings of the political parties could not be eliminated due to terrorism, now when the writ of law will be established with the success of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, then these factions will themselves be eradicated.
