According to police, two men riding a motorbike lobbed a hand grenade at Rangers checkpost and fled.
No loss of life was reported, but the checkpost was partially damaged in the attack. Sources told that Rangers had begun probe into the ambush.

A week ago, two Rangers check-posts were also attacked in wee hours of Sunday – one at Gulshan Chowrangi and the other at Essa Nagri. The culprits of the attack could not be caught as yet.
