According to details, Rangers on a tip off raided a house in Defence Housing Society and killed ‘Saleem Dollar’, a criminal who facilitated target killers from Lyari gang war and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Two other criminals were killed in the operation namely Nawaz alias Dada and Zubair alias Mohajir.
Rangers spokesperson claimed that Saleem Dollar used to financially support target killers Saeed alias Bharam of MQM and Rauf Nagori of Lyari gang war. Almost forty guards were present at the time of Rangers operation on Saleem Dollar’s house.
While some of the guards managed to flee, a number of them are in Rangers custody.
A huge cache of arms was recovered from Dollar’s house including 19 SMGs (Sub Machine Gun), two LMGs (Light Machine Gun), three MP5s, three Awan bombs and a large number of bullets.
