KARACHI: The paramilitary force in Karachi gunned down three alleged terrorists during an encounter late on Wednesday night, ARY News reported.
The encounter took place in the Manghopir area. Rangers personnel conducted a targeted operation in the neighbourhood on a tip-off.
Sighting arrival of the law enforcement personnel in the area, criminals fired shots at the Rangers and in retaliatory fire three criminals were killed. One paramilitary force officer also sustained injury in the encounter.
Cache of weapons was also seized from the slain criminals.
Meanwhile, police carried out a search operation in Defence area and found two mortor shells from a house.
Bomb Disposal Squad was called to the spot and they successfully defused the explosives.
