KARACHI: A Rangers’ personnel, who was booked for allegedly killing a citizen near Nagan Chowrangi, was released on bail on Tuesday, ARY News reported.
The accused Rangers man, Noor Rahim, was presented in a court after two-day physical remand. He was brought before the Additional District and Sessions judge Fida Abbassi, where the accused verbally confessed to shooting a citizen, Zeeshan.
The Rangers official said in his statement that around 10 to 12 persons had encircled a woman and one of them was forcefully dragging the woman into a car. He added that he fired two shots on the man’s leg after he ignored couple of loud warnings for releasing the woman.
After hearing the arguments by a lawyer representing Rangers, the court bailed the accused with a condition to submit Rs 2.4 million bond.
