Rangers' operations in accordance with law, says Siyal

The home minister Sindh today inspected protective dykes on River Indus in Khairpur, Larkana and other areas. Talking to media, he said the provincial government has finalized all arrangements to deal with flood.

While terming Rangers’ operations in Karachi ‘justified’, Siyal said the Sindh government has allocated budget for the recruitment of 10,000 policemen in new provincial budget.

He added that all appointments will be merit-based and warned of strict action against the ones who violated merit.

The home minister further said the cases formed against Altaf Hussain will be probed and then an action will be taken in accordance with all legal obligations.

He continued further that Faryal Talpur will soon return to Pakistan and the propaganda of PPP opponents will die down.
