Three ‘hitmen trained by RAW’ sent into Rangers custody

Speaking to mediamen outside the ATC, Rangers’ Colonel Shahid said the three accused – namely – Fahim alias Mirchi, Riaz and Nasir – were trained by the Indian spy agency ‘Research and Analysis Wing’  (RAW) to incite violence in Karachi.

He said the trio secretly travelled to India secretly in 1994 where RAW agents trained them on using different caliber of weapons including rocket launchers.

He also claimed that the three accused were trained in making bombs.

The accused have reportedly confessed to their involvement in several targeted killings as well as involvement in ‘china cutting’ in land grabbing.

Colonel Shahid said the arrested men have confessed their involvement in several terrorist activities in Karachi include grenade attacks.
