Rangers summon Zulfiqar Mirza in Uzair Baloch case: Sources
Zulfiqar Mirza, who had served during the previous PPP stint as the Home Minister of Sindh, has in the recent past publicly stated that he had close relations with Uzair Baloch. Sources revealed that Mirza had been summoned by Rangers for investigation pertaining to the Uzair Baloch case.
It was further revealed that five prominent personalities would also be investigated, among them Zulfiqar Mirza and PPP MPA Sania Naz.
Gang-war leader Uzair Jan Baloch had revealed during initial investigation that he had close ties with a number of prominent personalities. Sources also revealed that permission had been sought from Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah to investigate these persons.
Uzair Baloch was arrested by Rangers personnel on 30th January from the outskirts of Karachi, as he was about to enter the city.
