MULTAN: Citizens of Multan foiled a rape attempt of a six year old girl on Sunday (today), ARY News reports.
According to source, the six year old girl went to a nearby book depot at Timber Market where a person named Hafiz Muzaffar tried to rape her. The citizens of the area got hold of Muzaffar and gave him a severe thrashing after locking him in a room.
The rapist was handed over to the police and a case has been filed against him. The locals have said that the criminal has harassed a number of girls in the past.
